Getting Started
How do I sign in?
GeekDance staff: click "Sign in with DingTalk" on the login page — one scan and you are in, no password needed.
External teams: sign in with a mobile code (recommended) — an unregistered number auto-creates an account; or register under "Register a company" with mobile + name + company + email + password. On first entry enter an invite code issued by a GeekDance admin to unlock the platform and create your own workspace. Or join an existing workspace via your owner’s invite link.
Forgot password? Click "Forgot password" on the login page and enter your email to receive a reset link (short-lived, single use).
Where do I get an invite code or link?
Unlocking the platform needs an invite code: a GeekDance platform admin generates and hands out one-time, traceable codes under Platform Console → Invite Codes. No code? Tap "See how to get one" on the login page.
Joining a teammate’s existing workspace needs no code — just register via the invite link your owner sends from Enterprise Console → Members.
What should I do first?
Start in the Skill Square: use the circle tabs, type / tag filters, or search by name, description and tags; download or copy to use.
New workspace owners see an onboarding checklist at the top of the Square (publish a skill, invite members, set branding) — just work through it.
Key ideas: one-click use (download to install, copy to use); cases build trust; favorited skills notify you of updates.
Using Skills
How do I find a useful skill?
Open the Skill Square and use one of three tools: circle tabs at the top, type/tag filter rows, or the search box for fuzzy matching on name, description and tags.
Card previews, version numbers and case counts help you judge quality; clicking a member avatar filters to that author’s skills.
How do I use a downloaded skill?
Open the detail page, read the content, click Download, then unzip the package into your AI workspace’s skills folder (e.g. Claude Code or Qwen Work).
Prompts are simpler: click Copy on the detail page and paste it in.
Why favorite or like?
Liking pushes good content up the leaderboard; favoriting subscribes you to version updates so you never miss an upgrade.
The comment section reaches the author directly.
Publishing
How do I publish a skill?
Click "+ Publish" and upload your skill as a zip (SKILL.md recommended). The system parses content and suggests a name; pick a circle and type, add tags, then submit.
Once submitted it is immediately visible to the selected circle — no review needed; admins can edit, take offline, or delete any content anytime.
How does the Namer work?
The Publish page embeds a compact Namer panel: pick department, scene / sub-scene and style, and it builds a standard name following the prefix-dept-scene-sub-scene-style-custom grammar, applied to the name field in one click.
Naming rules are per-workspace: the owner first maintains the scene vocabulary and rules under Enterprise Console → Naming Scenes before smart suggestions work for members.
What are private posts?
A private post is visible only to you — not in the square, circles, announcements or leaderboards. Great for drafts or personal tools. Find them under the "Private space" toggle beside the Square title.
Workspace owners / admins can see members’ private items in Enterprise Console → Content.
Workspaces & Teams
How does a new team get a workspace?
Two ways: self-serve — register with a mobile code (or via "Register a company" with mobile + name + company + email + password), then enter a GeekDance invite code to unlock the platform and auto-create your own workspace as Owner; or accept an invite from a workspace owner’s email to join theirs.
The Owner has full admin rights: members, circles, types, tags, naming rules and branding.
Platform Console vs Enterprise Console?
Enterprise Console (/console): for workspace owners / admins, scoped to your own company — members & circles, content, billing, settings, audit.
Platform Console (/admin): only for GeekDance platform admins, across all tenants — tenant management, content governance, user information, invite codes, platform audit. Regular members never see this entry.
How do I invite teammates?
In Enterprise Console → Members, invite by email. The invitee receives a 7-day-valid email and joins your workspace after registering.
Already-registered users can be added directly by an admin.
Circles vs tags?
Circles control visibility: a skill is visible to members of the circles it is posted to; the Everyone circle auto-includes every member.
Tags are free-form labels for filtering and search — they never affect permissions.
Are there workspace quotas?
During the trial there are no plan tiers — every workspace gets full features free: 100 members, 500 skills, 500 prompts, 50 GB storage, 20 circles; you’ll be notified near or at limits.
See Enterprise Console → Billing for current quotas.
Account & Misc
Can I switch to English?
Yes — the 中 | EN switch at the top right flips the entire site (including both consoles) to English, with /en URL prefixes for SEO.
Can I change the theme?
Personal themes live in the user menu and persist across devices.
Workspace owners can brand the whole workspace (site name, theme colors) under Enterprise Console → Settings.
How do I get help?
Two channels: the Feedback entry in the user menu, or your workspace owner for in-space issues. To get platform access or an invite code, contact a GeekDance admin.
Is my data safe?
Tenant data is row-level isolated and visible only to workspace members; admin actions are audit-logged; data resides on cloud infrastructure in mainland China with daily automated backups.
See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details.
Still stuck? Use the Feedback entry in your user menu, ask your workspace owner, or contact a GeekDance admin for platform access / invite codes.
